Lonesome River Band returns as the Host of RUDY FEST held at the Carter County Fairgrounds in Grayson, KY. The event began today and runs through Saturday, June 22 with Lonesome River band set to take the stage on Friday and Saturday. This year’s festival will also feature The Bluegrass Album Band that includes the talents of Doyle Lawson, J. D. Crowe, Tony Rice, Bobby Hicks, Todd Phillips, and Josh Williams.
“We have been a part of Rudy Fest for the past 10 years and in our second year of hosting the festival, said Lonesome River Band member Sammy Shelor. “The vibe of Rudy Fest is what LRB is all about. The fact that the crew there uses the festival to raise money for the Carter County Youth Sports programs and other special needs of the community makes it a great event in all aspects. It is one of the most appreciative crowds on the whole Bluegrass Circuit.”
