Lonesome River Band Added to Pickin’ In The Pasture Line-Up

lonesome_river_band_sandlin_gaither_banner3cLonesome River Band was recently added to the Pickin’ In The Pasture line-up and will perform at the Lodi, New York festival on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 3:00 and 9:00 pm. Festival promoter Andy Alexander said, “Sammy Shelor’s group has been one of the biggest draws in bluegrass music for decades. Their unique sound has spawned a generation of new bluegrass fans. Lonesome River Band certainly brings a high level of excitement to the stage and we are really looking forward to them joining us.”

Pickin’ In The Pasture is held at 2515 Covert Rd, Lodi, NY. The gates will open to campers by noon on Wednesday, August 20. Performances begin at 12:00 noon on Thursday, August 21, 11:00 am on Friday August 22, 11:00 am on Saturday August 23. There will be a Church service and a gospel show Sunday, August 24 beginning at 10:00 am. Tickets are $80 for the weekend and include free camping or $30 for the day. There will be Instructional workshops throughout the weekend including the Friday, August 22 workshops hosted by Lonesome River Band members Brandon Rickman (Guitar) and Randy Jones (Mandolin.)
