Shannon Slaughter Premieres New Music Video “I’d Be A Cowboy”
Nashville, Tenn. (September 24, 2025) — Acclaimed bluegrass artist and songwriter Shannon Slaughter is proud to announce the premiere of the official music video for his latest single, “I’d Be A Cowboy.”
The video, filmed on the breathtaking HF Bar Ranch in Saddlestring, Wyoming, was produced by videographer Brendyn Petron. With sweeping landscapes and authentic western imagery, the video brings Mark “Brink” Brinkman’s and David Stewart’s lyrics to life and perfectly complements Slaughter’s powerful vocal performance.
The single was released last month and is already receiving impressive airplay nationwide. Last Friday, the track debuted on the Bluegrass Today Top 30 Song Chart, signaling strong momentum for the heartfelt cowboy ballad.
“From the first time I heard ‘I’d Be A Cowboy,’ I was struck by how timeless and visual the story felt,” Slaughter shared. “Shooting the video at HF Bar Ranch was the perfect way to honor the spirit of the song. Brendyn Petron captured it beautifully, and I’m excited for folks to experience the song in this new way.”
