The multi-award winning Trinity River Band from Callahan, Florida burst onto the national acoustic music scene just eight short years ago. Tracing their beginnings to performances in their local churches in early 2008, they quickly transitioned into a full-time national touring act in 2011. Their popular mix of Inspirational Country, Acoustic Roots, Folk and Bluegrass music performances quickly garnered them a loyal and devoted nationwide following.

“Trinity River Band has an incredibly close and beautiful family harmony,” says Kentucky Music Hall of Famer and Award-Winning Singer-Songwriter, Larry Cordle. They have spent years honing this ultra-tight vocal blend that perfectly serves their acoustic roots musical style.

The band includes the talents of Mike Harris (Guitar, Lead & Harmony Vocals); Lisa Harris (Bass, Harmony Vocals); Josh Harris (Banjo, Dobro, Harmony Vocals); Brianna Harris (Fiddle, Lead & Harmony Vocals); and the mesmerizing Lead Vocalist and Mandolinist, Sarah Harris. Sarah’s vocals (that are called “angelic” by the Multi-Grammy Award-Winning Artist and Producer, Carl Jackson) have garnered her two IBMA Momentum Award Nominations in the Vocalist of the Year Category.

The band received more honors in 2014 when Strictly Country Magazine, the host of the fan-voted Spirit Awards, named Trinity River Band’s song, “A Sinner’s Prayer” Song of the Year. In addition, Sarah Harris won her first individual award when the publication honored her with the Spirit of Christmas Award for her original song, “This Christmas.”

HEARTSTRINGS-Album-Cover-FINAL_300x274With an incredibly busy tour schedule, the band was still able to record and release four impressive albums in 14 months on the Orange Blossom Records label. Heartstrings, released in May 2015, certainly showcases the group’s versatility, both instrumentally and vocally. This 12 track project features 7 original songs including the title track that quickly made its debut at #15 on the Bluegrass Today Top 20 Weekly Song Chart. Other tracks include their popular Reba McIntyre cover “How Blue” that is currently receiving significant airplay on SiriusXM radio and made its debut on the Roots Music Report’s Top 50 Bluegrass Song Chart. Heartstrings includes special guest artists Marty Raybon, singing a beautiful duet “Fences” with Sarah, and Mark Johnson, adding his distinctive Clawgrass banjo on “Tell Me Darlin.” From pure country to catchy swing to rollicking bluegrass, there is something for every Trinity River fan on the album!

Jump Off The Ship - Trinity River BandIn June 2015, right on the heels of Heartstrings, the band released an all-gospel album, Jump Off the Ship due to their many fan requests.

In June 2015, Sarah appeared with Lizzy Long on Alex Rutledge’s show Bloodline, a hunting and cultural show airing nationally on the Sportsmans channel. In the “Bluegrass Babes” episode, Sarah and Lizzy accompany Alex on a turkey hunt in Kentucky.
