Mountain Fever Records has released a new single, “When Karma Comes Calling” by the award-winning band, Volume Five. The song was recorded in January 2021 and includes Glen Harrell, Patton Wages, Jacob Burleson, Aaron Ramsey, Jeff Partin, and Kameron Keller. The song is written by Ronnie Bowman and Terry Herd.
This is the first single release from the band’s upcoming album, Karma scheduled for release next year on Mountain Fever Records.
“Ronnie Bowman told me that he and Terry Herd had written a song just for Volume Five. I couldn’t believe how much I loved this song on the first listen. It definitely fits our style of music, and we are so excited to share this song with everyone,” said Glen Harrell. Ronnie Bowman agrees, saying, “Karma’s always a good thing when a great band and a good song comes together!”
Over the years, Volume Five has achieved tremendous chart success for both radio airplay and sales. They appeared in the Top 5 on Billboard’s Top Bluegrass Charts numerous times and reached #12 for their last Mountain Fever Records release, For Those Who Care To Listen. In addition, this award-winning band took home the coveted International Bluegrass Music Association’s Song of the Year Award for “Drifter” as well as the Emerging Artist of the Year Award in 2017.
Volume Five will perform on Thursday, September 30, at the Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddler’s Convention in Athens, Alabama. Then, on Saturday, October 2, music fans can catch their live performance at Ole Smoky’s Jams & Jars Concert Series in Gatlinburg.
