Owner/Agent: Penni McDaniel

Founded in 2001, Hope River Entertainment is a full-service music entertainment agency owned and operated by Penni McDaniel. The company began by handling booking and publicity for the original Pine Mountain Railroad, securing more than 200 tour dates in their first year and quickly establishing a reputation for excellence and results-driven artist representation.

As a seasoned Publicist, Penni has secured major national exposure for her clients, including Ryan Holladay’s appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show’s “World’s Most Talented Kids” episode and Tim Hensley’s memorable Grand Ole Opry performance with Kenny Chesney and Buddy Cannon. She served as publicist for Lonesome River Band for twelve years, handled label publicity for Rural Rhythm Records for seven years, and has represented numerous other artists and record labels throughout her career.

Current clients include Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, Volume Five, Special Consensus, Greg Blake, Dave Adkins & Mountain Soul, Larry Cordle, Shannon Slaughter, Crandall Creek, Mike Mitchell Band, and Caleb Bailey & Paine’s Run.

Since 2002, Hope River Entertainment has provided album publicity for countless projects by artists and labels such as Michael Martin Murphey, Larry Cordle, Donna Hughes, Carrie Hassler, Lonesome River Band, Rodney Dillard, Detour, Blue Moon Rising, Marty Raybon, and Melonie Cannon (including her acclaimed duet and video with Willie Nelson).

In 2005, Penni served as Assistant Music Supervisor for Bell Witch: The Movie and also handled album publicity and radio support for the film’s official soundtrack.

Hope River Entertainment’s publicity efforts have resulted in national magazine features, cover stories, and reviews in outlets such as Country Weekly Magazine.
