On June 30th, 2022, Overtones Live presented “An Evening with The Goodwin Brothers LIVE” in Georgetown, Kentucky, and will release Overtones LIVE Presents The Goodwin Brothers “Working in Concert” on CD, DVD, and Vinyl on Sept 1, 2022.
The Goodwin Brothers have been nominated for the highly esteemed The Josie Music Awards in three categories, including Bluegrass Band of the Year, Fans Choice, and Entertainer of the Year., The awards ceremony will be held on October 23, 2022, at The Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. The Goodwin Brothers have also been selected to perform as part of the awards show with artists William Lee Golden of The Oak Ridge Boys, The Malpass Brothers, Lacy J Dalton, and more.

Talent buyer, event producer, multi-award-winning performing artist, and album producer Mark Newton began the Mark Newton Entertainment Agency in 1990. His contributions to the bluegrass industry have been well documented, with numerous awards and recognition. Newton’s talent buying and event-producing achievements are exemplary. He has achieved much success with his music, such as his critically acclaimed Hillbilly Hemingway album, which was nominated for the 2007 IBMA for Album of the Year.
