Nashville, Tenn. (September 1, 2022) – Pinecastle Records is excited to announce the addition of The Goodwin Brothers to its artist roster. Known for their impeccable three-part harmonies and Bluegrass/Americana meets Southern Gospel sounds, the Eastern Kentucky-based group consists of core members Jonathan Goodwin, William Goodwin, and Chase Bush. The band is set to release new music later this year, along with their next full-length project, which serves as their debut release on Pinecastle Records.

“After exploring many options, we are happy to be making our home with Pinecastle,” says The Goodwin Brothers. “Their team understands our sound and vision for the future. We have been in the studion, and we have some great new tunes coming really soon.”

The Goodwin Brothers have already turned several heads since the release of their very first single as a group in 2021. However, before their formation as a band, each member had their own individual contributions to the music industry. Jonathan has had multiple roles, including label owner and head of artist management while receiving a Grammy nomination and multiple Dove nods. William is a National Guard veteran who was also the lead singer in the Christian band Assembled, who toured the country heavily. Finally, Chase was a finalist on season 5 of American Idol after making it through to Hollywood, where judge Randy Jackson compared his voice to a young Wayne Newton. Once you pair all three voices together, the result is one of the most must-hear new acts across genres.

“We’re thrilled to welcome The Goodwin Brothers to our Pinecastle family,” says label CEO Ethan Burkhardt. “Even prior to becoming a group, they have all had success on their own. Once you add in their amazing harmony vocals, it really fills a gap in Bluegrass that’s often missed.”

The Goodwin Brothers are on the road touring. During shows, they’ll perform songs from their upcoming album along with their Top Five charting hits, “Barefoot Girl” (Debuted on Bluegrass Today charts at #2), “Anywhere With You,” and “Still The One” amongst others. They are already set to appear at many of the leading festivals in 2023, as well as the Grand Ole Opry house this fall. They appear this weekend at SamJam Bluegrass Festival in Piketon, Ohio, along with the Steeldrivers, The Cleverlys, Balsam Range, and many others.
