Moundsville, WV (November 21, 2023) – Gather the family around and listen to Crandall Creek’s catchy and fun new single, “Christmastime,” on Copper Mountain Records. The song is available at all major outlets for streaming and purchasing and will have you singing along in no time. The band also released an accompanying kids’ animated music video that can be viewed on YouTube and Facebook.

A couple of weeks ago, Crandall Creek’s bandleader and guitarist, Jerry Andrews, sat down with his guitar and wrote “Christmastime” in under half an hour. “I thought about how simple things were in the late ’50s & ’60s growing up in rural West Virginia and remembering things like sled riding, bonfires, and celebrating the birth of the Baby Jesus. Christmastime was and is still important to my family. I hope everyone enjoys this tune as much as I had writing it and remembering old times and Christmas get-togethers.” Musicians on the track include Carly Greer on lead vocal, Kathy Wigman Lesnock on harmony vocal, Dustin Terpenning on banjo and mandolin, Sav Nelson on bass, and Jerry Andrews and Roger Hoard on guitar.

The band also posted a fun kids’ animated music video for the song that can be viewed on their Facebook page and their YouTube channel.

Crandall Creek has accomplished much this year with their successful shows and continuing radio chart success. Their current single and accompanying music video“Just 18,” also penned by Andrews, debuted a few weeks ago at #16 on the Bluegrass Today Top 20 Weekly song chart. Musicians on the track include Carly Greer on lead vocal, Jerry Andrews on guitar; Kathy Wigman Lesnock on harmony vocal; and Dustin Terpenning on banjo. The song was produced by Jamie Peck and includes guest Darrin Vincent on bass and Andy Leftwich on mandolin. The “Just 18” music video quickly took off on Facebook with over 360k views so far. It was filmed by Bruce Winges at the home of Kathy Wigman Lesnock and her husband, Doug Lesnock, in West Finley, Pennsylvania, and produced by Hope River Entertainment.

Crandall Creek’s other 2023 chart single, “Love the Thrill,” was penned by the band members. This fun and upbeat tune was #15 on the Bluegrass Today Top 20 monthly chart for October 2023, made numerous appearances on the Bluegrass Today Top 20 weekly chart, and continues to gain airplay. “Just 18” and “Love the Thrill” will appear on Crandall Creek’s upcoming album, scheduled for release early next year.
