Moundsville, WV (April 18, 2025) –– Copper Mountain Records is proud to announce the upcoming release of COLOR ME BLUE, the highly anticipated new album from rising bluegrass stars Crandall Creek. Set to release on April 25, the album will be available in vinyl, CD, and digital formats. Pre-orders are now open at CrandallCreek.com.
Known for their heartfelt songwriting and high-energy performances, Crandall Creek turns it up on Color Me Blue—eleven all-original tracks written by the band, blending fresh cuts with recent fan-favorite singles. Band leader and guitarist Jerry Andrews wrote or co-wrote nine of the eleven songs, including never-before-heard titles like Mountain Ways, Promise Me the Moon, and I Don’t Drink Whiskey, the latter co-written with the band’s extraordinary lead vocalist, Carly Greer.
A powerhouse of both voice and pen, Carly Greer is quickly becoming one of the most exciting young artists in bluegrass. Her emotionally rich vocals and authentic storytelling have captivated fans and critics alike. A 2024 IBMA Momentum Vocalist of the Year nominee, Greer shines throughout the album—not only as a standout singer, but also as a gifted songwriter. She penned The Penitentiary, co-wrote the poignant West Virginia Moonlight with her mother Stacy Dietz, and contributed to four additional tracks. Her ability to convey deep emotion with both precision and heart adds a rare and compelling layer to the band’s sound.
Another standout is the feel-good duet Lazy Sunday, featuring Carly Greer alongside Greg Blake, the 2023 IBMA Male Vocalist of the Year. Their warm vocal blend brings a fresh, uplifting energy to the track, which is paired with a charming music video sure to leave listeners smiling.
