Yee Haw Bluegrass Festival January 21-23, 2016

poster-yee-haw-cEvans Media Source is proud to announce the Yee Haw Bluegrass Festival will take place January 21-23, 2016 and moves to the Okeechobee Agri-Civic Center located at 4601 FL-710 in Okeechobee, Florida.

Earlier this year, it was announced by Yee Haw Junction that the festival would be going away. Soon after, Ernie and Debi Evans of Evans Media Source were hired by the property owner, Beverly Zicheck to continue its almost 30 year legacy. Sadly, in August Beverly lost her battle with pancreatic cancer. “I want to everyone to know that it was her wish to continue the festival. She even wanted to have the pasture transformed into an RV Park,” said Ernie Evans. “Unfortunately, due to Beverly’s estate being tied up in legal issues, attorneys would not permit any liability on the property, so the festival would need to be moved to continue her legacy. We have diligently been searching for a new location and had almost given up until the City of Okeechobee embraced us and provided a new home for the Yee Haw Junction Bluegrass Festival.”

Yeehaw_2016The Okeechobee Agri-Civic Center is a covered pavilion that has the perfect location to host performances by Nothin’ Fancy, Gary Waldrep Band, Penny Creek Band, Blue Cypress Bluegrass, Jan Ladd Swinging Bridge, Highway 41 South, Greg Bird, and more artists to be announced soon. Jo Odum will serve as Emcee. Attendees will also enjoy the music workshops, raffles, and more fun things for the entire family.

Daily ticket prices are: $16 (Thursday); $26.75 (Friday Saturday), or a 3-Day Tickets for $58.00.

Camping is available and prices range from $11 – $32. Limited hook-ups are available, so attendees are encouraged to make their reservations soon.

Send ticket requests to: Ernie Evans, 6143 Sabre Drive, Jacksonville, FL, or call Ernie and Debi for further information at 904-866-8378, at EvansMediaSource.com and Facebook.
